Anthony Galluzzo

Anthony Galluzzo is a writer and academic from New York who holds a PhD in English Literature from UCLA. He specializes in radical transatlantic English-language literary cultures of the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and has taught at the United States Military Academy at West Point, Colby College, and NYU. His work focuses on degrowth utopias and a constellation of thinkers he calls “Critical Aquarians,” offering an alternate route out of the current social and ecological crisis. He is the author of Against the Vortex: Zardoz and Degrowth Utopias in the Seventies and Today, published by Zero Books.
